It's nearly impossible to define “Art Director.”

Global toy packaging, animated YouTube campaigns, coffee table art books . . . I approach every project from a story point-of-view. Tell me a good story about that ugly duckling and I’ll fall for it every time.


I push my artists to start with my vision, but I want them to explore their own ideas. I'm an artist, too, so of course I want it my way. But most of the time my concepts can be improved. It sounds corny, but teamwork, guiding, and inspiring ALWAYS results in the best creative work, and shows me things I could never have imagined on my own.

That said? I sure do love to get my hands dirty.
