Disney en Familia was a fascinating project. My team was asked to translate content from FamilyFun magazine for a Latino and Hispanic readership—verbally and visually—and also to make it more "Disney" than FamilyFun's standard. I designed the logos and a brand style guide, and oversaw the visual "translation" work done by a Latino design team in Miami. I also directed each issue's unique cover shoot—from model and location selection to styling, scheduling, budgeting, and travel. It's difficult to call the travel a chore, however: the bulk of the cover shoots took place at various locations throughout Disney World in Orlando.
